    be jurists & mentors for the season 2.
  5. Unique Features like Power Over, Bat Out, Max Zone and Tenner will be

    practiced among others things to liven up the proceedings of the

    tournament.
  6. Plans to create Fan Clubs which will breed unprecedented loyalty leading

    to incredible frenzy across these towns.
  7. Total Prize money of Rs 25 lakhs will be distributed in this tournament.

    The winning team pockets a whooping 10 lakh rupees, while the runner-

    up will be richer by 5 lakh rupees.

7th July 2009, Mumbai: T-10 Gully Cricket: ‘Ab Har Koi Khelega’ – Season 2 – The second season of this Unique Cricket talent hunt cum tournament was announced today amidst much fan fare. Youth Icon, bollywood star and cricket fanatic Riteish Deshmukh has been appointed as the brand ambassador of T 10 Gully Cricket. This season commencing on 15th August 2009 will culminate with the Grand Finale on 15th November 2009. In addition to the first season’s experts like Charu Sharma and Saba Karim, this season also brings in the expertise of  Madan Lal  and  Sandeep Patil. Total Prize money of Rs 25 lakhs will be distributed to various winning teams in this tournament.

T-10 Gully Cricket ‘Season 2’ is a dedicated multi-city talent hunt which provides platform for the youngsters to connect directly and get involved with cricket at a level that has never been attempted before in India. The main objective is to explore and create a platform for the amateurs thereby provide opportunities to deserving and undiscovered cricketing talents. This talent hunt cum tournament will be conducted at Pune, Nashik, Latur, Surat, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jhansi, Gwalior, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Panchkula, Ludhiana, Allahabad, Patna, Ranchi & Jamshedpur. All the matches will be played on exquisite cricket grounds with sporting wickets & lush green outfields.

Only Non First Class Cricket players between the age group of 15-24 from Tier 2, 3 and below towns are eligible to participate in this tournament. A total number of 64 teams consisting of 896 players will compete with each other and make the best of this once in a lifetime opportunity. The call for entries will start from 15th August. More than 50,000 entries are expected to come in for this season from all the cities.

T-10 Gully Cricket, a Bi–annual talent hunt cum tournament had its inaugural edition in Jan –Feb 2009 played amidst 32 teams in 8 cities in Pune, Nashik, Thane, Surat, Lucknow, Kanpur, Jalandhar & Ludhiana. It had Rin as a presenting sponsor and Pepsi as a pouring partner for the first season.

T-10 Gully Cricket format will incorporate unique features like Power Over, Bat Out,  Max Zone and Tenner among others things to liven up the proceedings, To maintain discipline and seriousness the selection round will be held in a match like situation played with a 10 over each side and not through a playing session in the nets. Attempt would be made to frame rules which lie in the realm of possibilities on an international level and go on to raise the intensity of the game.

The same venues that trained heavy weights like Sunil Gavaskar, Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag and many more, who swear by this format of the game.
